Why can some people see ghosts and others can’t?

Some people are open to receive consciousness from the larger plane of consciousness.
Unless you have experienced being released from the body, you might not understand what I am about to say, but, for me, I feel as if I am “contained” in a body. I am literally suffocated as if I were in a box with a lid on it.
When I was released from my body after a traumatic accident, I was vast, spatial and free. There was no weight on me and no lid. My senses were all sharper than normal and so was my thinking. I knew immediately I was disembodied.
I use this to illustrate what I mean by the larger plane of consciousness.
Consciousness is a universe all its own.
What we have here is just a matter universe. This is nothing compared to the conscious universe. Everything here is limited and finite. There, it is expansive, wide and free. It is weightless.
Some people on earth are open to this plane.
This plane is where consciousness goes once the body dies.
It is a vast universe, so there are many layers, many planes.
Someone in the conscious universe can reach someone in the physical universe through thought waves of equal polarity.
Likewise, someone of the physical universe can reach someone in the conscious universe in the same way.
Not all conscious beings are released to the conscious universe because not all detach from their hold on the physical universe.
Those that hold on to things in the physical universe, remain trapped in a corridor between the conscious world and the physical world and they travel between the two. These beings have been labeled as ghosts and spirits. But actually they are the consciousness of the people they were in life. What is “seen” is an energy reflection of their physical form and what is heard is the auditory reflection of their voice because everything they were on earth was recorded in their energy field where it now “lives”.
Not everyone is aware of ghosts or the conscious universe because, quite frankly, not everyone is aware they are conscious to begin with.
There are many who aren’t even aware that they think.
They believe all their sensual activity comes from the brain and their thoughts do not come until someone speaks to them.
But the brain is a processor of signals, senses and sounds.
It is not the mind. The mind is in the field of the soul which holds the portal to the conscious universe. Those who are aware, connect to this. Those who are not aware, are unaware of anything going on that is not directly related to the 3-D world they experience.
There are also many people who suspect something more is going on, but they remain skeptical. It is their skepticism that keeps the door to awareness closed as well.
