Why has neuroscience not settled the question of free will?

All of man’s science is based on physical proof. What physical properties does the will have? Can you hold it in your hand? Can you pour it on to your cereal? Have you ever heard/read of any doctor, especially a surgeon who removed the will of a patient when they removed their tonsils? Performed a heart transplant, Removed a bad kidney, removed gall stones or performed brain surgery? Human science will not find the physical evidence of the will nor will they ever produce the physical proof of a spirit. (Even though ghosts can be captured on cameras. Technology makes this evidence speculative and open to interpretation.) Human science will also never produce a mind or the thoughts that a mind contains. Human science is limited, finite and incomplete because man’s vision is also limited by his blind refusal to open his limited mind to a universe of possibilities that exists beyond the physical realm.

When people refer to the spirit, or describe something as spiritual, what do they mean? Are they referring to an emotion or to a feeling?

I can only speak for myself. I have my own private, individual, non-mainstream spiritual practice and ministry. When I speak of the spirit, I speak of the spiritual field; the essence of life. The essence of life is not physical which is why it is referred to as the “essence” of life. The essence of life is a conscious impulse wave of energy. This conscious impulse wave is actively recording all of our impressions, thoughts, ideas, beliefs, dreams, proclivities and opinions. It also records and holds our thoughts about ourselves including out character and personality, likes and dislikes. This conscious wave is a part of a universal field of conscious energy waves. Our consciousness is never separated from this field, but we are not all aware we are conscious, nor are we all aware of the conscious field. Those who are aware of the field of consciousness experience what the non-aware refer to as “phenomena.” These “phenomena” include deja vu experiences, psychic “phe...

If you are an immortal individual infinite spirit existing within an infinite number of other similar beings then how can you kill or murder? Who invented the concept of the immortality of the human spirit force that is within you?

When you ask how can you kill or murder, I assume you mean how can you physically kill or murder, because both killing and murdering are physical acts and mortals carry out physical acts; they are the only ones that can carry out physical acts because they are the ones that possess physical bodies to do so. Spirits cannot act in this way. A ghost is anchored to the physical plane and therefore can utilize the energies of the earth to alter temperature conditions within its own environment such as the room it haunts. It may also move objects. But each action it takes, drains its energy so it would not be able to generate energy for long and it is doubtful it could generate enough energy to actually kill a human being. Endanger it, possibly but I’m not so sure about killing it. While you are in your human body, you are anchored to the physical plane even more so than a ghost, but the spirits you may or may not be connected to are not anchored to the earth, these spirits would be ...

Is nonduality simply an idealistic philosophy? What practical purpose does non-dual enlightenment serve in the (imperfect) real world? Why is pursuing egocide virtuous according to these spiritual traditions?

To experience being without judgment is the purpose. Right now, you exist because you are aware you exist. You are aware there is a you. You know your name and all the information about you. You know where you live, what you like to do, how you live and so on. But to experience being without personifying it, is the purpose of non-duality. It is a response to the oneness theory which states that we are all one and one is all. Without a subjective point of view and an individual perspective, we are merely awake but we are not aware. We do not respond to anything because only awareness can respond. We are simply staring. We are empty. Yet we are being in a pure state that is not corrupted by perception. Perception comes from awareness. Awareness creates corruption because awareness proves itself by showing us opposites. While awake, we know nothing. While aware, we now know something. Some thing is the opposite of no thing. While we retain individual perspective ...

Is spirituality something you can attain?

You are either aware you are spirit or you are not aware you are spirit. (Or you don’t believe you are spirit) Once you are aware you are spirit, you can choose to live a spiritual life or you can choose to continue a human life. You do not attain spirituality. You attain awareness of being spirit through the realization that you are not the sum of your flesh and bones you are actually beyond the physical and the limitations of mortality.
