The Mystic Channel

To be honest, I wasn’t attracted to mysticism. I work as a scribe for my sister, who is a psychic. She gives readings to people (palm and soul) and she investigates haunted properties and assists in finding missing people and solving cold cases for law enforcement. When it came to fill out my profile on Quora, because I do not feel I am a psychic as my sister is, I did not want to put down psychic. I was really confused as to what I am until I read a question that said, “Why do you call yourself a mystic?” I liked the word “mystic” and looked it up. The Oxford Dictionary defines a mystic as: a person who seeks by contemplation and self-surrender to obtain unity with or absorption into the Deity or the absolute, or who believes in the spiritual apprehension of truths that are beyond the intellect. Make them aware you know they are there by speaking with them. Introduce yourself. To them, you are an intruder in their home so let them get to know you. Be willing to share space with them and keep communication flowing. Understand that they may not respond in human ways because they no longer have physical bodies. They also may not be sure how to communicate with you. They may misplace objects that you own. Understand this is not necessarily because they have negative intentions, but because they now have the gift of telekinesis and this may fascinate them. Be patient and explain everything to them like a caring friend. Treat them as if they were a guest in your home and act like a guest in their home.

If you want to be precise, you are a swarm of electrically charged conscious particles that make up a blueprint of your information. The owner of the blueprint; the “YOU” in the equation, or the “I” individually decides what it’s purpose is.

I only know one way to defeat anger, revenge, jealousy, bad manners, arrogance etc, and that is discipline. A practice of self-awareness and attention to thoughts, especially the thoughts that inspire these unwanted behaviors, is the only way to root out the behavior. As you are alert for your thoughts, you are alert for where your thoughts lead you and you can change “bad” thoughts for good, thus inspiring good actions.

You are information. You are currently housed in a flesh vessel as you gather even more information to add to your information. The information that you are is made up of the identity that you were given as well as your own thoughts and ideas concerning who you think you are and what you think you look like, your knowledge, beliefs, ideas and thoughts, your perceptions and interpretations, your character and personality. The information that you are gathering is fed to you through your senses as you experiences life. These experiences are fed to you through your eyes that see, your nose that smells, your fingers that touch and feel, your ears that hear, your emotions that feel and your intuition that warns you of possible dangers. In addition you have the ability to make judgments and decisions and these things also make up the information you gather. You have asked a faith based question. Do you believe God is ignoring you when your prayer goes unanswered? I have been told by Jesus Christ that when someone asks for help a number of things happen. First of all, spirits can see life on earth. They can see the people who call to them and they can see those around them. They can speak to people on earth and send them thoughts to help you but if the people do not listen, then Christ and his helpers have no alternative than to go to another group of people. If no one is listening, then no aid will be coming. Are you being ignored by God or by your fellow man? All acts on earth, even those divinely conceived by God, have to be carried out through some mortal means. God works with the material present. He can only create new material from material already present.

You can't see it, touch it, taste it or smell it but you can hear it and experience it. You can  see  what you think of through your imagination. You can hear other people speak of their thoughts, ideas, dreams and beliefs that are in their head. They may perhaps draw pictures that represent these thoughts, or they may publish books. Once the thought is committed to a physical medium such as paper, it becomes tangible, but until then it has no substance; no body. It is not a material thing. As consciousness is not a material property, then the laws governing material properties do not apply to it. This means, unlike matter which is degradable, consciousness cannot be destroyed.
